Morris, Singletary, and Morse Present at CCCC

Abigail Morris, Zachary Singletary (RWPC PhD student), and Tracy Ann Morse presented at this year’s Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) annual convention. Their panel was titled “Insider Identities and Inclusivity: Gen Z, Empathic Concern, and Teaching Writing.” Their individual presentations focused on the research on Gen Z that points to increased anxiety and depression in their mental health. They explored the practice of empathic pedagogy and administration to help some Gen Z students, GTAs, and instructors thrive in writing courses. Here are their individual presentation titles:
