Kitta’s Scholarship Spotlighted
Dr. Andrea Kitta published two articles in Advancing Folkloristics: “An Epidemic of Meanings”: The Tenuous Nature of Public Intellectualism, Reflexivity, and Belief Scholarship” and “Folklore: Getting Others to Take the Discipline Seriously while Remaining a Serious Folklorist,” co-authored with Lynne S. McNeill, and Trevor J. Blank.
Kitta also published “Precedented: COVID-19 and Vernacular Response,” co-authored with Ian Brodie, in Contemporary Legend. Her work was also mentioned in this piece: Shut Up About Bodily Autonomy…Because Public Health.
In addition, Kitta will be presenting for the third time at Nerd Nite on August 13.
