PhD student Atemnkeng Featured on Duetsche Welle Podcast

Incoming PhD student, Nkiacha Atemnkeng, was recently featured on the radio podcast of the German international broadcaster Duetsche Welle, talking about visa rejections to Schengen countries.

Atemnkeng is a writer and music enthusiast from Cameroon. His work was published in the 2015 Caine Prize anthology Lusaka Punk and Other Stories, the 2019 Short Story Day Africa Hotel Africa anthology, Of Passion and Ink: New Voices from Cameroon anthology by Bakwa Books, as well as The Guardian Longread, among others. He is a Goethe Institut/Sylt residency prize winner and earned his MFA in Creative Writing from Texas State University.
