From the hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas, Codi Renee Blackmon holds a BA in English from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Masters in Professional and Technical Writing at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Her experiences include working in high-school and university libraries, university writing centers, K-12 substitute teaching, after-school programming, and first-year writing. She is looking forward to a career in writing and academia. Her numerous honors and awards include being a McNair Scholar and member of Alpha Epsilon Lambda Graduate Honor Society.
As a teacher-scholar, her interests include rhetorical theories of ethos, service learning, and community writing projects. As a Ph.D. student, her research interests include digital design, multimodal composing, audience analysis, and statistical methods in quantitative research design.
