Cope Lectures at Brown University
Dr. Lida Cope delivered an invited lecture Language and identity in the Czech diaspora as part of the panel on Identity threat and cyber security: Czech language and identity in the globalizing world at Brown University, the Watson Institute of International and Public Affairs, on October 27, 2021. The event was livestreamed, giving Czech diasporic communities worldwide the attention they deserve! The event was co-sponsored by the Office of Global Engagement, the Watson Institute, and the Department of Slavic Studies at Brown University, and supported by the Czech Foreign Ministry and the Brown-Charles University Memorandum of Understanding.
