Squint Presents Paper at MLA

Dr. Kirstin Squint presented her paper “Narrative Reliability and ‘the Mooney book’ in Riding the Trail of Tears” as a participant on the virtual roundtable “Indigenous Literary Pedagogies: How and Why I Teach ______” at the Modern Language Association convention on January 8, 2022. The roundtable was sponsored by the Language, Literature, and Culture (LLC) Indigenous Literatures of the United States and Canada Forum and included panelist lightning talks on why they teach particular texts, writers, genres, questions, ideas, contexts, and methodologies, as well as collaboration on pedagogical approaches with audience members. She also completed her five-year term as a member of the Executive Council for the LLC Southern United States Forum.
