Squint Receives Research Award
Dr. Kirsten Squint is the2021-2022 Department Research Award. During the award period, she published two book-length projects, Conversations with LeAnne Howe and Swamp Souths: Literary and Cultural Ecologies, as well as chapters, interviews, and encyclopedia entries. She gave numerous presentations and lectures. Her research pushes the field of Native American literatures, championing practices including genre-bending and inclusivity.
