Byrd Writes Article for Carolina Country

Ph.D. student Gordon Byrd recently published “Comradery through Competition on the Links” in the latest issue of Carolina County. The article highlights the Veteran Golfers Association, which is located in Pinehurst, North Carolina. “The VGA is dedicated to enriching the lives of Veterans and their family members through the camaraderie and sportsmanship of golf.”

Byrd stated, “What I like the most about this article is I was able to interview my subjects while playing golf!”
