Faculty and Graduate Students Publish Article

Dr. Kimberly Thompson, teaching assistant professor, Mr. Zachary Singletary, third-year PhD student and Graduate Assistant Director of Writing Foundations; Dr. Abigail Morris, teaching instructor; and Dr. Tracy Ann Morse, Director of Writing Foundations published “Boundaries, Self-Care, and Empathy: Building an Empathic Teaching Survival Kit” in a special issue on Writing and Well-Being in Composition Studies. In the conclusion of the article, they write, “Our hope is that by exploring these spaces—administrative, professional development, and classroom—in the ways that we have, that we highlighted critical spaces of empathy.”
