Christy Hallberg interviewed Garth Risk Hallberg for her podcast, Rock is Lit, about Garth’s novel, City on Fire, which has been made into an eight-episode TV series on Apple TV+. In the podcast, Garth discusses the making of the TV series, his memories growing up in Greenville, and the difficulties he experienced going through the publishing process while his father, Bill Hallberg, a former ECU English creative writing professor, was dying of cancer.
