Lyra Thomas (they/them/theirs) is a Black and Queer nonbinary poet from St Louis, MO. They are interested in poetry that navigates complex familial relationships, gender, sex, and race. Lyra was nominated for an ECU Excels award their first semester at ECU (2024-2025), and is working on their debut poetry collection.
