Hallberg’s Podcast Named as a Finalist

Christy Hallberg’s podcast, Rock is Lit, the first and only podcast devoted to rock novels, was named a finalist in the Art & Culture category of the 2023 Popcon Indy podcast contest.

PopCon is a pop culture convention that has been held at the Indiana Convention Center since 2014. (Attendance at a recent year’s event was 30,000.) According to Popcon’s Brandon Peters, host of The Brandon Peters Show, “This year’s awards had over 150 submissions. They consisted of a combination of output from major studio productions to independent productions. Entries came from anywhere in North America and reached all the way to the likes of London and West Bengal.
