Squint’s Article Fetaured in The Golbal South

Dr. Kirstin Squint’s article “Indigenous Removal and (Un)Recognition in the Plantationocene: Documenting Louisiana’s Rising Waters” was published in the journal The Global South, vol. 16, no. 2. The article discusses the impacts of settler colonialism and climate change on two Louisiana coastal tribes, as depicted in recent documentary films.

Also, her edited collection, Conversations with LeAnne Howe, recently received a positive review in NAIS, the journal of the Native American and Indigenous Studies Association.
