About
Knott is a lifelong resident of Eastern North Carolina. She obtained both her B.A. and M.A. from ECU. She writes poetry in the Confessional and Southern Gothic genres and is a scholar of Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton. Her poetry has been a finalist for the James Applewhite Poetry Prize with the North Carolina Literary Review. She lives in Greenville with her two dogs and two horses.
