About

Dr. Reginald Watson teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in American and multicultural literature, along with composition. He has published several articles in the following journals: College Language Association, Obsidian II, and Contours. Over the years, he has served on several boards: NC Humanities Council, Freedom Monument Project, and the Greenville, NC Housing Authority. Dr. Watson is a decorated Army veteran who originally joined the faculty in 1991, and in 1993, he founded the student dramatic group, East Carolina University Thespians of Diversity, and over the years, has also written four plays that were performed both on campus and in the community. Currently, he serves on the English Department Personnel Committee.
