About

David Wilson-Okamura is the recipient of ECU’s highest teaching honor, the Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching. His first book, Virgil in the Renaissance, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2010 and received the Alexander McKay prize for the best Virgil book of 2010 and 2011. His second book, Spenser’s International Style, was published in 2013, also from Cambridge University Press, and received the International Spenser Society’s Isabel McCaffrey Medal for the best Spenser book of 2013 and 2014.
