Rebecca Bernard is the author of the story collection Our Sister Who Will Not Die (Mad Creek Books, 2022). Her fiction and essays have most recently appeared or are forthcoming in Oxford American, Alaska Quarterly Review, Phoebe, and Permafrost. She has received support from the Sewanee Writers Conference and Vanderbilt’s Curb Center for Art, Enterprise, and Public Policy. Her work received notable mention in the Best American Short Stories of 2018.
